Laser printers are faster and cheaper than color inkjet printers. Although toner cartridges cost more than ink cartridges they print many more pages per cartridge and are therefore cheaper per page. Many people have both a laser printer for everyday black & white printing, which is much faster, and a color printer for the occasional color print jobs. This printer is only 2 months old and hardly used. The previous owners decided they wanted a color printer instead of a laser printer.
